You are invited to attend a one day workshop with parallel live interventional endoscopy, laparoscopy and open surgery


This workshop is presented as part of the SAGES 2008 Congress to be held at the Cape Town Convention Centre from 8 to 10 August 2008

Techniques and tricks for difficult cannulations of bile and pancreatic ducts (the use of guidewires, pre-cutting and stents)

The use of choledochoscopes to view and take biopsies in the bile ducts - the "spy" scope
Multiple stone extractions

High definition manometric studies

Endoscopic mucosal resection
Removal of polyps by making use of saline

Upper: Barrett's Esophagus
Techniques for targeted biopsies by making use of chromo- and magnifying endoscopy
